Hadn't used this Hero Art stamp for a while so took some time out to use my Distress Inks and water brush for this card. A really simple technique though this is quite a full stamp.

Christmas with Lavinia Stamps

Christmas with Lavinia


A simple card with inking and scoring adding the detail. I stamped the three trees and star first and then using a mask added the hill details. Used glue pen and Diamond snow to add the snow and border within the smaller frame. I used a gold pen on one of the outer frames then then the glue pen again with the snow

Creative Expressions Card - Just for You

Daisy Cluster Dies and Ornate oval
 
 
Cut frames from Double Pierced Squares and embossed background.
Embossing  Folder Beaded Fanfare Pin Point.  The outer frame was embossed only from the back of the card for an added feature
Multi cut the Daisy Die to stack up for dimension. Cut one of the solid Daisy trio to add colour from under.

Sweet Poppy Stencils and Sue Wilson Die

Here's another Christmas Card I made using Sweet Poppy Stencils and Dies From Sue Wilson
 
Poinsettia Stencils and the word Christmas from another Stencil which I mounted onto a Die cut shape from a Sue Wilson Set - Caribbean Island St Barts
Cut the poinsettia out and mounted up to make it fuller. Added cuts from the Pine Bough Set for interest. Layered up to complete my card.

Another Workshop card


Here's another card from Eileen's Workshop- slowly but surely  I am working my way through all the topper's we made last weekend! Then I think I am nearly done for Christmas this year

 
 
 
An easy card just stamp and Bling!! Someone ( think it was Bali) suggested using a peel off for the chain. Think it worked well. I knew if I hung onto them for long enough they'd have a use...

Chocolate Baroque Challenge 16 Card #2

Awesome Orchids for my Second Challenge card


This is my second card for the current Chocolate Baroque Challenge. I used distress inks to paint the image and made a computer generated sentiment onto the topper.
I embossed a double frame from the inside of the card to give a raised effect. Tonic die for the coloured mat.

Crealies Guest Designer Card



I made a card base from the outer circle of the Modern Patchwork Set No 1.
I cut elements for the card as shown in the pictures to help.  Adhere the the embossed sections. I used 3 layers for each segment. Position as shown. Die cut the flowers inking through with the colour of your choice. I used Distress Ink Bundles Sage. I used wet adhesive to extend the length of the circles and placed as shown in the picture. Lastly I mounted the flowers as shown.

For the  Patchwork card.. I used the following Crealies products:

Crealies Duo Dies no 23
Crealies Decorette Die no 11
Crealies Modern Patchwork  Die Set no 1
My own embossing folder and glitter glue








Guest Designer Card for Crealies

My second Card for Crealies

For this card I masked off the mat to leave a wavy section to ink. I used Bundled Sage, Worn Lipstick, and Broken China, blending across the colours. I used a black fine liner around using a faux stitch.
I stamped the foliage directly onto the card. I made up 8 Flowers inking them with the same colours as the border and adhered as shown. I added Pearls at the corners to finish. I layered this onto silver mirror card and then onto the card blank as shown

Awesome Orchids for my First Challenge Card
 

Stamped the images onto my background, masking off at stages to get the effect I wanted. I used Wink of Stella Pens to colour. Stamped and coloured extra elements so that I could cut and decoupage. Added a sentiment and a frame cut from  from Creative Expressions Dies.
 
I am entering my card into Challenge 15 at Chocolate Baroque.

Used the lovely Noble Double Pierced Squares for  the various layers and frame. Patterned paper from stash. I stamped the Woodware Strip Stamp of Snowmen and cut one to colour and decoupage onto the red mat.
 
Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels Iced Crystal to decorate the Snowman's hat

I used the largest octagon die for the layers and then my Perfect Layers ruler to make a larger base. Had an octagonal box with an acetate front so I made the card to fit the box!

Crealies Card

Inks and Crealie's for my Card today


I used the Base of the Crealies Patchwork Die Set to make the card and the cut a layer to fit on the top.
Distress Inks for the background and dried off before stamping the circles with white embossing powder. Added wome water splats to take off some of the colour. Dried off and then stamped the other stamps on.
Cut three Crealies flowers as shown.
I used the following items:
Flower Die Set of 3 no 23
Flower Duo dies no 23,
Bits and Pieces nos 11, 17 and 22.

 I.actually used the Fern Leaf as a Tree and the proud Stag for my winter theme card. Blinged the tree with jewels and added glitter for snow. Distress Inks for the Winter moon and hill shadowing. The holly berries are glittered too

Crealies Patchwork card with Hero Arts Stamp

Cut Crealies Ptchwork circle base and four "quarters. Grouped the quarters together from the back with low tack tape and turned over. Positioned the stamps to work out design then stamped with Versamark and white EP. Heated to set.
Coloured in with watercolour pens  - more intense in the middle working out to more of a wash round the outer edges

Creative Expression Card

Loving green today!


My design is a variation based on a card I saw Phill Martin make recently.
I used a landscape card blank which I embossed on the front with the  Rambling Fowers Embossing Folder.
I cut a base layer in a green linen card and a light green Adorable Scorable card and then other layers as shown, edging the  top layer with the Mini Gemini ARA I stamped the flowers with the new Filigree Peony Stamp - compatible with the Perfect Peony Complete Petals.  Cut left and right Laurel Leaves
The sentiment topper is from the Canadian - TORONTO set.

Hougie Board Stepper Card

Stepper Card with a Woodware Stamp and Snow Border Die form Creative Expressions
 
 Created a stepper card and adhered  panels at side and along the bottom as shown. Stamped image and cut into a panel. Paper pieced some of the Snowmen.......Matted onto a layer. Before you use adhesive on the stamped panel, cut 2 of the Snow Border from the die set and adhere on the back of the panel and then position in the centre front as shown. There is room at the back to mat and layer die cut and add your sentiment. Alternatively a sentiment could be added on the inside as you like...

Creative Expressions Dies

My card today uses Creative Expression Dies
Parchment Flowers and Dies
 
 
I cut a mat for the top and embossed only the Configurations Lattice Arched Adornment Die on two sides as shown. Scored frame lines on the other two sides as shown using my Hougie Board.
Stamped and heat embossed with WOW Platinum powder onto 200gsm Parchment paper.. Coloured with Spectrum Noir pens from the back. Added a pull up ribbon bow and made a trail and second small bow as shown. Positioned flowers as shown  and cut a sentiment and frame from the Ornate Oval Set.
Pearls to finish after layering up onto a 7" card base

Honey Doo Stamp and Creative Expression Sentiment Oval Die

Lots of cutting in my card today!!

Tonic Die used as in my last Blog. Stamped the Honey Doo  Floral Crest Stamp three times using white embossing powder. Twice stamped in the darker and once in the lighter coloured card. Cut stamped images out after heat embossing. Die cut Creative Expression Ornate Oval and made a stack of four for the base and 3 times for the wording...Embossed background to mount the topper on.

Creative Expressions and Tonic Dies

 
A quick card today!
Hello all - it's been a busy week so here is a quick card I made using a Tonic Die for the background - a small square I cut 4 times. Mounted onto Creative Expression double sided adhesive sheet and then a fine glitter pushed through. 
 
 
Sentiment base cut twice and stuck together and the sentiment cut twice in the lighter background shadow and once in the darker blue - I used dies from both sets
Layering to complete
