Foiling and Sweet Poppy Stencils

Have tried foiling for the first time!

First saw this technique from a friend on Sweet Poppy Design Team - Julie thank you!

Thought my laminator was not working...Always helps to put the hot switch on. So glad I never threw it out as I could have my first play with hot foiling with a laminator!

I chose Sweet Poppy Stencils and used black, pearlescent and silver paste to see if there was a different effect but can't see any yet!!
These are my first 4 and I'll put the others on later in the week so hope you can hop back and have a look at them

Sweet Poppy Stencil: Poppy
[SP1-135]

Sweet Poppy Stencil: Daisy

Sweet Poppy Stencil: Deer
[SP1-220

Snowfall acetate over the deer and addition of the snowflakes adds more interest

Sweet Poppy Stencil: Mehndi Flower
[SP1-272]

Always more difficult getting a good photo without a hand or head getting in the way when I use Mirri card to mat and layer!!

Allhallows Workshop - my results

After  a great start things ground to a halt, though I managed to avoid everything going in the bin!  As they say tomorrow is another day so I allocated today to save what I had done and do a couple of samples of the second card at Eileen's Workshop...So here are my 4 cards.
A great day as usual though there were some poorly absentees. Wishing them well and hope they make next month's class.

This is the little devil who caused the problem or maybe it was me trying to stamp thesentiment with foam pads on the back!  lol

Today was much better and really enjoyed making this and the following card

My favourite!

Crealies Guest Designer Creation

Floral Anniversary Card

I was so pleased to be asked to Guest Design for Crealies again.  Here is my finished project.

Dies Used
*****    Card Blank  made from Die set:

*****   FLOWER DIE *****

  bies stansen+stempels / dies+stamps no. 01, Bloemen A / Flowers A
                                                                    Article code: CLCB01

*****Sentiment Die*****

Article code: CLTD107

******Foliage Die*****

Fold A4 card in half and position Die as shown. Cut to form card blank.

Your blank will look like this so you need to cut two extra as below. Adhere the larger size over the card blank to make it symmetrical again

Once you have done this you have a correct shaped card blank again
Card Blank

The smaller shape you have cut will need foam tape or silicone glue on the back to make it raised

Like this!

Cut a selection of Flowers using the die and then stamp on the colour of your choice. I used Creative Expressions Cloud Ink Soft Cerise

Stamped Flowers
Cut some of each of the foliage dies and colour to your choice. I used Cloud Ink by Creative Expressions

Cut 4 of each of the Words and use glue or spray adhesive to make a stack to give dimension

Assemble as shown to complete your project.
