Chocolate Baroque Challenge #6 Card 1

My first card for the Chocolate Baroque Challenge
 is a Thank You card

Hi all - wishing you a Happy New Year!
After a hectic Christmas and then out of action with jelly legs congestion and a hacking cough it seems ages since I managed a Post. Well here it is - a Thank You card - useful for this time of year.
Used a Lifestyle Die for the Base and the top mat, which was a free CB download from a previous challenge.
Used a Memory Box stencil for the background using Oak House Ink Pads.
The stamps were from a Chocolate Baroque Set
Wisteria-lane

Simple faux stitching to finish.
Ink are from a range by Oak House Studio

Happy Birthday to You......

Background masked off and inked with 3 inks I chose from the Oak House Studio range - Purple, Slate Grey and Dusky Pink.
Brushed over with mica powders whilst still damp so it "stuck " on a bit...

Inked and cut a Chocolate Baroque Butterfly and made 3 flowers in vellum stamped with gold fine detail powder from Oak House Studios. Coloured with Spectrum Noir from the back and added a brad then Stickled to add highlights.

This really is my last Christmas Card for 2014!!

Stencil and Mirri Snowflakes

I used a stencil  (with  translucent paste and blue glitter from Sweet Poppy Stencils)  from Designs by Ryn for the branch . The snowflakes were cut in silver Mirri card  - I think it is a set from Marianne Dies. Found the sentiment to finish it off. A quick last minute card to make.......

Last Christmas Card of 2014 - using a Chocolate Baroque Stamp

Traditional Christmas Card

I stamped the image onto the card in gold embossing powder and also the foliage area which I cut to decoupage.

Added a moon and the sky detail. The acetate over the top is slightly curved but unfortunately doesn't show up so well.
The image was computer generated.

Chocolate Baroque Challenge #5 Card Three

My 3rd card for the current Chocolate Baroque Challenge

I used the Posy Stamp from the  Rose Tree set. De-bossed the largest die directly onto the card base and then cut the remaining layers. Edged the cut shapes with a Spectrum Noir Pen. Stamped the flower image with white embossing powder. Used my alcohol pens to colour and then glossy accents over the coloured image.

Chocolate Baroque Poppy Stamp from the Pretty Poppy Set

I love Poppies!

I embossed only  the frame on a layer and then die cut one shape  to stamp. Stamped Poppy image from the Pretty-Poppies-Unmounted-Rubber-stamp and used a fine gold heat embossing powder . I coloured the edge only of the cut edge and the outside of the square. Used Spectrum Noir Pens and a Wink of Stella pen to colour. Used foam pads to lift the square so that the coloured image sat slightly recessed.
