Wedding Card

Cas Card for a

Wedding/ Special Occasion Card

A simple card on white linen from Paper Mill Direct which you can adapt to many occasions by the wording on the pennants. Firstly score a panel on the Hougie. Cut pennants - mine is a set from Sizzix. and punch a small hole ( Martha Stewart screw hole punch) in each. Die cut lettering - mine is a die free from Tattered Lace magazine and was just the right size. Threaded a silver chain - your choice could be ribbon, thread etc. After the photo was taken I decided to add a small silver plated flower to  the ends of the chain. Glued alternate pennants on to allow movement. Embellishments of your choice to finish. Mine were from a selection by J and C Creations Maidstone.  ******

Morning all on this sunny day
I used Distress inks and roughly divided the card into 4. Stamped background texture stamp from Viva Las Vegas Stamps and did some swirlys with Cosmic Shimmer pearls and highlighted some with a white pen. Meanwhile stamped a Penny Black flower and cut out. When card base was dry added the flower to finish and lined with a black fine liner as seen

Stamping, heat embossing and metallic crayons......

Flourish is in the CB Poppy Stamp set so I used it against brown card for background for a change The Coral embossing powder changed to a lovely purple against the brown which I quite liked. Used a green for the poppy image and then coloured in with metallic crayons.    Highlighted with a white pen and pricked random holes and outlined in white. Matt and layering with faux stitch to finish.

Sweet Poppy Stencil

Leaf Flourish Stencil
Created background first by distressing card working a lighter area towards the centre. Then  with a texture stamp I dabbed several colours on ( doesn't show in the photo) and stamped. Dried and then used a dimension glitter paste through the stencil. When this was dry I outlined the whole stencil in blue with a fine liner to pop the image a bit. When dry matt and layered and stamped card base with a small leaf stamp I found.

Parchment and Embossing

Second card mainly using the Free stamps (except for the flower. This time I stamped the sentiment with Stazon  which made a difference to the clarity compared with heat embossing, I think. Background stamped and white EP. Spritzed background with Goosebumps and left to dry before distressing and  mounting the parchment embellishments and adding the silver flowers.

Free Indigo Blue Stamps Set

Made this card from free Indigo Blue Stamps from a craft magazine. The 3 flowers with the pearls were from a set by Chocolate Baroque. Stamped background with the butterfly and dragonfly onto the card base with white EP and then stamped onto parchment to cut out. the sentiment was stamped onto a rectangle from Tonic Layering Dies.
