Black and gold layering for my stencil card today. I used gold glitter paste and a red Stickles for the Holly berries. A simple but elegant card I think http://www.sweet-poppy.co.uk/catalog/sweet-poppy-stencil-christmas-blessings-p-1230.html |
Use a texture medium and then black glitter on the Penguin gold on the star and crystal glitter on the rest. Simple mat and layering to finish. Ranger Liquid Pearls to finish. Scored design on the Hougie Board and piped White Opal Liquid Pearls at each junction. I used Sue Wilson Dies Toronto Dies from the Canadian Collection for the sentiment and the Peony Dies - open and closed for the flowers. I inked the flower and mat with Twisted Citron - one of the new 12 colours Tim Holtz is releasing this year ( one each month ) The squares are from the Presscut Die Range Thank you for looking today http://www.creative-expressions.uk.com/diesbysuewilson/ |
Holly wreath in pearlescent paste and covered with embossing powder which I left to dry before heating. Sentiment banner and mat and layering to finish http://www.sweet-poppy.co.uk/catalog/index.php |
A lovely Workshop again and I decided to use the Hibiscus Flower on my pencil box. Brayered black Gesso as the base and then stamped and heat embossed the flowers. Used Wink of Stella pens to add a bit of sparkle. eileenscraftyzone.blogspot.com (for Workshop info) http://designsbyryn.com/index.php/shop1/#!/Hibiscus-Unmounted-Stamps/p/48145847/category=12538212 |
The new globe stencils are really good to work with, quite intricate detail. White glossy paste with the lower part of the globe sprinkled with glitter http://www.sweet-poppy.co.uk/catalog/sweet-poppy-stencil-snow-globe-penguin-family-p-1233.html |
Had to take at a funny angle as the Mirri card is rather reflective! Bauble Stencil is new and I also added the sentiment which I all ready had. Used a glitter paste onto black card but there are so many mediums which work well. Matt and layering to finish.
