Sweet Poppy Stencil #Christmas Card

Another card using one of the new stencils from Sweet Poppy Stencils

Had to take at a funny angle as the Mirri card is rather reflective!
Bauble Stencil is new and I also added the sentiment which I all ready had. Used a glitter paste onto black card but there are so many mediums which work well. Matt and layering to finish.

Throwback Thursday

Sheena Douglas Stamps

The card I am reviving from a couple of years ago features Sheena Douglass' stamps.
I used distress inks for the background on Centura Pearl card creating a series of random circles. Dripped water and blotted off to create areas of lightness ( I am sure there is a technical term for this!)
Stamped  Sheena's flowers and foliage directly onto card using Versamark and some off card to decoupage. Added my favourite Liquid pearls to add a little more detail to the flower.

I am entering this throwback post into Bibiana's "Throwback Thursday Challenge"

Created background squares  and then finished off the mat and layering, embossing one of the layers.
