Stamp Scapes Workshop

Relaxing Workshop using Stamp Scape Stamps

I love Sally's Workshops as they are very relaxing.
The stamps are easy to use by using stamped up acetate to use for planning the design and perspective.
Here's my result - what do you think? I was pleased with the rising mist effect across the trees - hopefully the camera did it's job!!

A card from my "To finish" box

Cards to finish....now I can set myself a deadline and get them done!!

except I am away for a few days...lol

I am taking part in a Craftathon at the end of the month and am rounding up a lot of my "part" pieces to complete as cards for a local Hospice - Demelza House plus getting a design sorted for making on the day

I believe the leaves are from a Woodware Stamp Set. Hougie board for the background and Distress Inks. Chocolate Baroque Butterfly and a Spellbinders Flower Die.

A quick post today  while I am away

Honey Doo Stamp

Another card for my Craftathon donation

Shaded background for the Honey Doo Stamp I have used for my card.
I used artists mask to add a few specific circles and removed it after the ink had dried.
Found the ladybird stamp in a free set from a magazine - it was just the right size and the addition of red makes the colours"pop" out.

I love this stamp and have used a Wink of Stella Blue glitter pen to add the colour.
Simple computer Sentiment to finish.

Here's the link if you would like to hop over to the HoneyDoo site. There are some lovely clean line stamps there.

My Workshop Samples from Saturday

Another great day at Eileen's Workshop

Here are my makes from Eileen's Workshop on Saturday
Canvas with a few techniques. Heavy Gesso to coat base, tissue, more Gesso or similar glue medium. When dry, Gesso
again. Used acrylics paints to add colour detail. When dry Stencil with a texture paste medium or similar.
Embellishments of choice. This time I used a HoneyDoo Stamp and coloured with Versacolour and Wink of Stella Pens and cut out. May gloss them too. My background stencil was the  Ginko leaf  by Designs by Ryn
http://designsbyryn.com/index.php/shop1/#!/Gingko-Stencil/p/48145946/category=12538212
honeydoocrafts.co.uk

Second piece is a card. I used a texture paste fairly thinly on the back ground. Left to dry. Distress inks to add colour and when dry tamped image - a Penny Black Stamp. I like the variance in colour shading where the paste absorbs the ink. Used a metallic pen on the "dot" leaves. Inked a narrow border round card before using a silver pen round the border and to add a few dots for interest again with the silver pen. Matt and layering to finish

A card again. "flicked" a masking fluid with a brush. Left to dry. Made mask for moon and positioned before using Distress Inks. Removed masked and coloured moon. When ink was dry Stamped image - a HoneyDoo Stamp and coloured. Splattered water drops to lift some of the ink and when dry removed the artist mask to reveal "white". Used a gold pen to highlight edges.

What a great day and pleased with my results too!!
