Ribbon Flowers cards with embossing folders

Two Cards -same process

Chose my colour scheme and cut bottom layer to leave a small border round card base. Cut square for top layer and ran through embossing folder. Cut off 1/2" from one side of square, inked over embossing lightly and made a diagonal cut from one of the shorter edges across to the other. When placed on card the short edge when place on the card is laid to reform the square with the diagonal cut enabling the backing paper to show. Marianne die cut for flowers and ribbon through the slits which are cut from the die. Pearl to finish flowers and sentiment tag added. Second card the same but instead of embossing I stamped a stem around the edge randomly. Used parchment for the flowers instead of a patterned paper.

Sweet Poppy Fairy Pods and Flock

Fairy Pods - Stencilling with Sweet Poppy Stencils

Background stencil first with heat embossed powders. Placed Fairy Pods Stencil and pulled through with translucscent paste and then used Sweet Poppy Ultra Fine Glitter and Blue Flock for texture. The Flock is nice and fine , works so easily and adds a different dimension to your work.          Used some embossed silver mirror card  and  plain base layers to finish.
