Chocolate Baroque Thistle Butterfly

Hope this conforms to the colours in the new Chocolate Baroque Challenge!
I have used one of the stamps from the Thistle Butterfly Set and stamped 3  times on some blue Centura Pearl card. Coloured with Promarkers and then stamped Butterfly and coloured with the Challenge colours.
Added some Stickles "White Diamond ".

Robin Stencil

Robin Stencil - from Sweet Poppy Stencils...

 

I stencilled the Robin onto acetate. and added glitter once the paste had dried. Die cut Creative Expression Poinsettia and Holly Spray to frame the oval aperture. Some Stickles Gliiter and Perfect Pearls for the Berries..

Chocolate Baroque Briar-Rose-Butterfly Stamp

This is a lovely stamp set from Chocolate Baroque. I had my sewing machine out so had a play to make a border!!

 For the background I used chalk based paints and on the final layer masked off with a stencil. Stamped with Memento Ink and coloured with Promarkers. Highlighted with a white pen and added a sentiment to finish

This Penny Black Stamp is beautiful.....Created background using an inked background washed over with Gesso to make it more subtle. Pasted through Stencil with a dimension paste. Leave to dry. Then I stamped stamp one image and heat embossed with gold embossing powder  cut out painted with Brusho Scarlet - it's so vibrant...Matt and layering and a sentiment to finish..

Tag with a Stencil by Designs by Ryn

 

 

 

A quick tag today...using the Maidenhair Fern Stencil by Designs by Ryn

 

Put a dimension paste through the Maidenhair Fern stencil and left to dry. Used Distressed Paints to colour the tag. Heat gun to dry. Stamped part of a Woodware stamped down a side. I used Treasure Gold Jewels Gilding Wax to highlight the Fern and really buffed it to shine. A few ribbons and a parchment butterfly  to finish...

Maidenhair Fern and Humming Bird Stamps

 

 

I used Distress inks for the Fern background and then stamped and cut the Hummingbird out. Added a cluster of flowers and then from my stash stamped the small dragonfly.

The turtle Dove Christmas Set is one of my Favourites

Free download paper for the back-ground and stamped the berry spray, doves and tree. Double stamped the bird  to cut out and colour - to lift the design. Stamped with Memento and coloured with Promarker Pens.

Christmas Card

 

 

Christmas Card with a Spirelli Pattern and a Spellbinders Poinsettia Die

 

 

I used the Perfect Layer for piercing out the lines for the Spirelli pattern and used a single red thread.

Die cut flowers and leaves and used micro beads for the centres.

Card made at Eileen's Workshop

 

Distress Inks, Gesso, Die cuts from parchment etc

 

We all had a great time at Eileen's Workshop on Saturday and here is the one completed card I made. Loads of techniques using Distress Inks, Gesso wash, Stamping, Stencilling, Heat embossing, Painting, Candi, phew! sue to have missed something.

Heartfelt CreationStamps

 

I cut a Spellbinders aperture and placed the cut mat onto the inside for the sentiment. Stamped and cut out ( matching die is available is you don't do hand cutting!) and assembled flowers. Scored a frame with the Hougie Board before adding the flowers. Added a leaf and flower to the inside to finish. Will need a box envelope to protect the flowers - out comes the Hougie Board for that and I'll pop a flower onto that too.The card base is 7" square for this card from J and C Creations.

Fern Stencil and Heartfelt Creations

 

 

I used one of the new Stencils - Fern from Designs by Ryn as the background for my card today and when ink was dry repositioned stencil and put over a layer of transluscent paste to add texture witout altering the colour. Stamped out Heartfelt Creations and shaped petals, layered out and popped a pearl in the centre.

Chocolate Baroque Stamp from the Honeysuckle Butterfly Set

Another card using a stamp from the Honeysuckle Butterfly set. I used Oak House Studio Inks ( absolutely super to work with!!) for the background. and then stamped with white embossing powder. Coloured in with Distress Pens. I wanted to keep the colouring subtle so chose similar pens to the inks I used on the background
