Chocolate Baroque Stamp Challenge #10 Card 1

My 1st card for the Chocolate Baroque Challenge

A butterfly! What a surprise but this is a beauty....Found this goldy / copper colour heat EP so decided to give it a go...Stamped onto Parchment.which I love cutting out. Found some leaves to use. Coloured with Distress Pens from the back. Embossed and inked a background. Like the contrast of the structured background and the fluidity of the butterfly etc. ( wow - where did that come from!!) Sue Wilson Die for the sentiment.......

Sweet Poppy Stencils + heat embossing

Leaf Flowers Stencil
Brusho background. Stencilled with translucent paste and sprinkled embossing powder over. Left it to dry thoroughly overnight. Heated gun up well and then heated EP quickly so there was no bubbling. Quite pleased with the result as it was smooth and glossy.

Water coloured card using a Chocolate Baroque Poppy Stamp

Water-coloured card
I used Spectrum Aqua pens to colour this hexagonal shaped card using a blend of pinks and purple shades.
I added a coat of Glossy Accents to make the colouring stand out.
Stamp from a poppy set from Chocolate Baroque

Steampunk Butterfly

Sweet Poppy Steampunk Butterfly
A lovely new design from Sweet Poppy Stencil - Steampunk Butterfly
I used glitter medium and made 2 butterflies. As they are symmetrical , when dry, I cut out, running a length of invisible thread down the middle before sticking together. Inked over gaps and then brushed some mica powder over ( new range of beautiful colours from SPS)
Cut an aperture out and embossed and inked the inside.
